Stop blaming people for their Differences

Representation & recognition

Many businesses and organisations claim they highly associated with equality. In reality there is not a clear recognition for appropriate support of any one with hidden disabilities compared with other recognised elements society (such as women, ethnic minorities and people with more obvious physical and mental disabilities) Because of people with invisible difficulties can put in situation where they get wrongly judged and treatments. The can leads to major instability In gaining access many parts of everyday life.

There needs for every part of society to improve recognition of various people with hidden difficulties in Law, in Any services serving the public for example. Also they need to better included and represented strongly in various part of any ways of participation and consultation groups and committee. Such as local and nation government, community groups and specialised area such as police and transport for example. This can repair any potential problems if any difficulties occur.

A lot can be done from all sides of society

Fast moving environments.

A places and environment which is fast moving (such as leisure centres, nightclubs, bars, leisure centres, activity classes and cinemas) needs also be aware of invisible differences. Try not uses that environment to put pressure or become a particular difficulty is become gradually obvious. Support strategies needs to included so a person with differences does not gets wrongly penalised. It is very important  not to alienate people with differences away from their environments even if that might the norm.

All services serving for the public

It is very important to take time out to be aware of the differences in society which is not obvious recognised visually. If a particular difficulty become obvious (includes short memory problems difficulties of think laterally for example) refrain from reacting with disapproval.  Ask question if they need assistance i but in a respectful and not patronising.

Employment and job opportunities.

With pressure of high numbers of academic qualification for job opportunities, this lead to major obstacles from any opening. this is especially if that person has short memory difficulties affect having any academic qualification. That person may can read, write and calculate and able to have  vocational qualification they still have the door closed on their face. Despite there are high exceptions there is always exception in the context having high amount of academic qualifications does not mean that person can performs that job the right standards. A person skills and qualities over any qualification should be considered sometimes. Otherwise skills are wrongly branded as unemployable

Media

As they say no news is good news there is very limited positive association of people with differences and usually gets wrongly associated as a liability on public services such as support and welfare benefits, or a persons difficulties can be perceived as rude and lazy. The viewpoints should not focused on main society perception but individual with differences perspective should be included even if it's not interesting to the masses.  Everyone talks about an inclusive society so the media needs to prove it.

Intolerance & exploitation

People with differences needs to know their rights even if they do not be aware of the level of action but do not wait till everything goes wrong.

Discouragement

People with differences tend of be discouraged from taking any action as simply they can get accused of rocking the boat or not see the importance. However backing down can lead to many consequences. For example It could causes negative strains on relationships, friendships and any form of social inclusion especially if a problem gets worse.  You can also gets wrongly accused of being a hypocrite with double standards for expressing a point and not acting on it. Even if that perception is not intentional that how you judged and treated on this.
