Welcome to Differences

This new page to highlights and challenge awareness with individual with invisible difficulties from High-functioning Autism and Asperger Syndrome through to Dyslexia and learning based mental health issues.
The main purpose is to highlight awareness the invisible difficulties certain people have. Also to challenge the attitudes which can cause many people unnecessary life obstacles. Over a period of time a resource for reference will be developed on solutions and helpful references.
This new differences concept was based on what was created with autism challenge over a ten year period. focusing on issues affecting people with autism and Asperger Syndrome. However there are people other than autism also face certain difficulties some similar to people with autism with other difficulties are more unique. In addition many more people people face similar obstacles and face particular issues with lack of understanding, intolerance and even have certain opportunities denied and even being simply under valued.
With the examples mentioned this is why I wanted to develop the autism challenge idea further and expand the initiative to cover more variety of people (some of the examples I mentioned on this page) this will be under the new differences name.
A part of the new website Autism Challenge is moved to this website and now part of the Differences family of initiatives. Now more can be developed with integrated initiatives, campaigns and projects in one place.
