As part of this new Differences website, a new project will begin from April. 

The Differences Awareness Series, a year long specialised initiative running throughout 2011  


The Differences awareness series will be a combination of visual art, campaigns and written issues link with particular awareness days throughout the year.  During each awareness session web users will be asked to take part and to share general or focused viewpoint & expressions linked with that particular awareness subjects. The public can able to get in touch via the Differences website and via the new Differences & Autism Challenge Networking page on facebook. A special Differences Awareness blog page will be created when everybody will able to view all the gathered comments and topics linked with the series Awareness Series event online. In addition special documents and publication may be developed. Any updates on this will informed via this website and the Differences & Autism Challenge Networking page on facebook. Some of the contributions could be also featured on the main features of this website.

Schedule in 2011

Differences Awareness Series Starts in April 2nd with World Autism Awareness Day, this will be linked with 

Autism Challenge (part of the Differences initiative family). The series will continue with World Mental Health Day in October then in December with International Day of Person with Disabilities and Human Rights Day.


As part of the series it will also includes other events including Learning Disability Week and 

International Stammering Day.
